Editorial Exists At Boating~Highways
It's NOT Funny!

What Do We Have To Say!?

...Yes, I'm BackI, finally, slipped the bonds, that held me!  Now...I can say, what I had to say... right after, I describe -- what it is -- the Boating~Highways Editorial Group does.  But, first...

I find it, my first "duty," to tell you: the Editorial Group, did NOT pick the Graphic Identifier, on the left.  The Artsy-Fartsy Advertising Group did.  We had nothing, to do with it...and... don't think it's, the least bit, funny!  Thank You.

Normally, the Editorial content, of a publication, is its 'Voice."  The messages, the Editorial Policy sets, are delivered by this "Voice" and its, designed  image.  We find, relaxed and informal, works best, for us and, we think you will, too.  This comes from, a 'discovery', years ago...

While listening to many radio and television broadcasts, it became -- suddenly -- apparent, they were making a common mistake.  They were writing, for an audience!  People do not listen, as a audience ... they listen as individuals.  Statements like: "All you people, out there..." and "What does the audience, think?" fell on deaf ears!  The same thing applies, to printed work.  People read, as One!  There's a tiny bit, more...you'll listen, won't you!?

...You Hear Written Words!  That's right!  "Hear" words, when you read them!  We dare you... read that last sentence -- to yourself -- and listen, to the words.  If you knew, who was writing this, you would hear it, in their Voice!  But, you don't... so you hear it, in Yours!  Dare Ya'.

"What does, all this, mean?"  It means: the written word is actually, a conversation...on paper!  You decide, how you want to hear it ... and in what tone.  That's how we learned to write, directly, to you ... not your Uncle Max (You wouldn't 'listen', if we did).

Where Does All This Come From?

...It Comes From You: directly from you.  We practice, what we preach.  We: Stop, Look, Listen and Try, until it becomes a habit.  A Good Habit.  That's, exactly, where you come in...

Drop Our Department, a line and tell us, what you think.  Negative -- or Positive -- comments.  DEstructive -- or CONstructive -- criticism is always given a voice.  Make it; your voice!
